Course Overview

The Supporting Cisco Service Provider IP NGN Operations (SSPO) Cisco training course has been designed to give candidates an introduction for entry level personnel to the service provider network operations environment, including its processes, management tools and methods. Candidates will practice the primary job roles and tasks as they prepare for the Cisco Certified Network Associate in Service Provider Operations (CCNA SP Operations) certification exam. The CCNA SP Operations certification proves the basic knowledge and skills of a Tier I support engineer in a prescriptive troubleshooting environment within a carrier-class IP Next-Generation Network (NGN) core infrastructure.


Please note that course attendees are required to bring their own laptops to class equipped with Windows XP, 2K, or 2007 along with an Ethernet cable.

An understanding of UNIX and/or Linux operating system would be advantageous.


Testing and Certification

The SSPO Cisco training course is the recommended preparation for the 640-760 SSPO exam and helps to prepare candidates for CCNA Service Provider Operations certification. Courses OFCN, MSPRP, MSPVM and MSPQS are recommended for further study towards achieving CCNP Service Provider Operations Certification.
