The Designing a Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Infrastructure M10231 instructor-led training course has been designed to teach IT Professionals how to design and deploy Microsoft SharePoint 2010.

Target Audience

Candidates who should consider attending the M10231 Microsoft training course are IT Professionals who use Microsoft SharePoint 2010 in a team-based, medium-sized to large environment. While they may have implemented a SharePoint deployment, they have limited experience in designing a SharePoint infrastructure and likely work as a senior administrator who acts as a technical lead over a team of administrators. Candidates should have at least six months experience with SharePoint 2010 (including pre-released versions of the product).

Course Prerequisites

Candidates attending the M10231 Microsoft training course should have at least 2 years' experience administering, deploying, managing, monitoring, upgrading, migrating, and designing SharePoint servers and at least one year's experience of mapping business requirements to logical and physical technical design. Candidates are required to have a working knowledge of network design, including network security and have previously attended and completed course M10174: Configuring and Managing Microsoft SharePoint 2010, or possess the equivalent knowledge and experience.
