The Deploying Windows Vista Business Desktops M5105 Microsoft training course has been designed to provide candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge required to successfully deploy the Windows Vista Business operating system to desktops throughout their organisations. Course Prerequisites
Candidates attending the M5105 Microsoft training course should have previous experience deploying Windows desktop operating systems and at least one year`s experience managing a Microsoft Windows desktop operating system environment. Candidates are also required to be familiar with standard client and application deployment methods, such as Group Policy, disk imaging, Systems Management Server (SMS), System Centre Configuration Manager 2007 and the Microsoft Solution Accelerator for Business Desktop Deployment (BDD) or MDT 2008.Testing and Certification
There are currently no exams or Microsoft Certification directly associated to this course however this course may assist in preparing candidates for other exams that are closely associated with this technology.Course Content
Module 1: Preparing to Deploy Windows Vista Business DesktopsIn this module candidates will learn guidelines for an effective desktop deployment. The module also introduces tools and technologies used in the desktop deployment life cycle, and the process and team guidance provided by the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2008. Finally candidates will learn about planning Windows Vista deployments, in addition to volume activation options and troubleshooting methods.
