This course also fills in a skills gap that currently exists within the portfolio and provides further support for the exams that associated to Microsoft Exchange Server 2010.Target Audience
Candidates who should consider attending the M10165 Microsoft training course are IT professionals experienced with the technologies included in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or Exchange Server 2007. Candidates wishing to take this course should have a Technology Specialist or equivalent certification, or equivalent knowledge and experience, and be looking to upgrade their skills to Exchange Server 2010.Course Objectives

Course Prerequisites
Candidates attending the M10165 Microsoft training course should hold a valid MCSE in the Windows Server 2003 operating system or TS qualification in Exchange Server 2007 with exam 70-236 - TS : Exchange Server 2007, Configuring certification. Candidates are also required to have Windows Server 2008 Technology Specialist skills and at least two years' experience administering Exchange Server 2003 or Exchange Server 2007.Testing and Certification

Module 1: Introducing Exchange Server 2010In this module candidates will learn about the new Exchange Server 2010 features as compared to the Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2007 features. The module covers the new features and terminology in two lessons, one of which will describe new features since Exchange Server 2003, and the other new features since Exchange Server 2007. By covering this material at a high level early in the course, the module aims to decrease some of the gaps in knowledge between the Exchange Server 2003 administrators and the Exchange Server 2007 administrators. The module also provides a high-level view of the steps required to migrate from previous Exchange Server versions to Exchange Server 2010.
