Course Prerequisites

Candidates attending the M6419 Microsoft training course should have at least one year`s experience operating Windows Servers in the area of account management, server maintenance, server monitoring, or server security and A+, Server+, hardware portion of Net+, and familiarity with Windows (client side).

Candidates are also required to have a working knowledge of networking technologies, an intermediate understanding of network operating systems as well as previous working experience with Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008.

Finally, candidates should have a basic knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP and scripting tools such as Powershell and WMI coupled with an understanding of security concepts and methodologies (for example, corporate policies).
