The modular architecture of the Cisco 1841 has been designed for for application in small to medium sized business environments, as well as small enterprise branch offices. When compared to the 1700 series the CISCO1841 offers a hardware based encryption (enabled by the optional Cisco IOS Software security image), a substantial increase in its interface card slot performance and density while maintaining support for the majority of existing VWICs, WICS, and VICs (in data mode only).CISCO1841 Specification:
The Cisco 1841 Router offers the following support:- Wire speed performance at T1/E1 WAN rates.
